Therapy Room

Welcome...

My practice extends from Christchurch to Branksome Park, where you will receive a warm welcome, within pleasant and comfortable surroundings.

Explore problematic situations and issues or talk over an adverse life event, you may discover awareness around uncomfortable feelings and emotions, clearing a path for insight, clarity, and direction.

The foundations of my counselling training, are based upon Rogerian theory, (Person Centred). However, I am passionate  about the differing theoretical approaches, that enable and empower clients, offering the opportunity for healing, improved well being and progression, at a therapeutically deeper level. My approach is integrative which means I have been trained in, and can employ several theoretical approaches.

I draw from cognitive behavioural therapy, humanistic/person centred, psychodynamic, solution focused brief therapy and existential approaches to adapt the theory to each individual client.

My ethos is eclectic, and I take all holistic factors into consideration  when offering therapy.

I have a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a full, registered member of the BACP professional body.

I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and work within the requirements of the BABCP Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

As part of  my MBACP registration requirements, i have regular clinical supervision with a BACP approved supervisor, which helps me provide a better service to you.

I am fully insured, have a current enhanced DBS check, and am registered with the ICO   and comply with current Data Protection legislation.

I work psycho therapeutically with individuals aged 18  and over.

You can find me verified and listed on the BACP Accredited Register and  Psychology Today
